Here's a short video where I talk about a G12 Scuttle, Buffalo Horn Bowl, Old Spice Shaving Mug, and a Danish Gravy Boat.

That was great and very professionally done. I prefer a scuttle because it keeps the lather warm throughout the shave. Thank youBiggrin

Thank you. I absolutely agree with your take on the scuttle in terms of keeping the lather warm. It definitely adds luxury to the shave and I always use my scuttle to warm my brush between passes. I face lather about 85% of the time but I always use my scuttle for brush holding.

For a noob I'd say the Danish Gravy Boat is an excellent choice due to cost and durability.

Well done Chris. I've never used a G12 before but I have used the Dirty Bird and the Moss Scuttles. My favorite scuttle and the one I use now is the Schwarzweisskeramik (SWK) that is made by Ansgar Tolksdorf in Germany. But like you I prefer something lite that I can hold in my hand and for that I prefer the stainless bowl that I got from BullGoose.

Nicely done. I use a stainless steel bowl for travel, and a White Black Ceramic scuttle for home - I like nice, warm lather!

Gents:

Very nice colors. Real nice quality and performance.
That little metal cap does the work.

Thanks
Ken
