I have a friend that is getting into wet shaving and the last piece of the puzzle is the razor. I have software and blades for a lifetime for him but not a razor to spare. He likes vintage stuff but a modern would work if the price is right. Thinking of something milder since he's just starting out. Hoping for a safety bar version to start him out on.

Let me know what you have and we'll go from there. Really hoping to make a trade so I don't have to spend any "real" money Smile

Dustin I have 2 Gillette old style OC razors - each has the usual crack in the handle. They shave well and I consider them on the milder side, but I prefer my iKon OC. They're not worth much - I'd be happy to take a soap or cream in exchange (partially used is fine) or I can PIF them.
Thanks, Jeff

I have always favored the Lord Premium Safety Razor Model LP1822L as a great inexpensive razor. It has a Merkur type head and is slightly less aggressive than the Merkur 23C. All metal with an aluminum handle. It sells for about $12. Highly recommended.
