Never tried any Yerba Mate...maybe it's time I give it a try. Supposedly pretty good for you

Unless you overdo it (and/or drink it and you're a smoker), and according to the Mayo Clinic, you can develop Cancer: http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-living...q-20058343

Then again...what don't you get cancer from these days....

I'm sitting beside a huge glass of ice cold water with an equal amount of ice cubes. I'm a bit boring I suppose.

Water. I don't 'drink'. Not at all.

No, I'm not a recovering alcoholic. At parties people are always trying to make you drink. So very dull.

If you say "I am a recovering alcoholic" (to get them off your case) they 'understand' and 'respect' your decision. If you're not, then they try their very hardest to make you one.

Cheers
What a nice dram that Ardbeg really is.

Yesterday I was drinking a Portuguese Aguardente (or Fire Water, for lack of a better translation) called CR&F to go with a pretty good Partagás cigar.
Lately I find that an Aguardente goes much better with a cigar than most whiskies actually do.
