Thanks David I must admit to having a knack for getting hold of NOS razors, but there's one Japanese razor that keeps alluding me but I'm always on the look out.

Thanks one and all for your kind remarks, I know two NOS razors in one week it's simply not fair it's a cruel world Biggrin, well I gave the Erusta 96 Boehlersteel a shave this morning first shave since I honed her yesterday and was amazed how smooth that razor was well I honed the Henckels today ready for the next shave I would imagine same again fingers crossed.

Hi Johnny, quite a few in the UK but many from European countries plus a few good contacts within the straight razor community.

Hello there mixershave,

well first up regarding my favourite razor well I only have 7 or 8 razors at this moment in time I've owned many more but I've thinned them out lately, now my best razor that's far to hard a question to answer but there's certainly a theme with all the razors I own and what I really like so here are a few likes and dislikes, love full hollow ground blades, dislike heavy grinds quarter hollow even half hollow, love big blades anything over 6/8 probably my perfect size razor would be 13/16 but I really enjoy shaving with 8/8, love square points dislike round points purely down to aesthetics and I know a round point can be the equal of a square point shave wise I simple cannot find any love for that round nose Smile, and regarding the razor I'm looking for well it's not a rare razor and there are quite a few about in fact I had one response when I placed an add in the BST over on Badger & Blade before they banned me for asking in the straight razor section did anyone know where I could find a box for a specific Filarmonica razor well that's their loss I couldn't really give a shit to be honest but I do think there was probably more behind it, and now the razor I'm looking for is a vintage Japanese King Pelican 14 NOS this one.
