Hey guys,

Lee, as always, is quite busy. I am trying to figure out what handle options he has for a 3XL. I would love a Polo, Colonel, or L7 type shape. Has anyone ever had one of these done?

If not, what other handle shapes have you seen at the 30mm knot size mark?

Thanks!

Hello, Bryan. The 3XL, as I understand it, is a handle shape in its own right. The others that you mention, likewise. I've only ever had a 3XL, a larger version of the 2XL, and found the height of the handle uncomfortable. I sold it to another member. I have had no experience of the others.

Sorry I was unclear. I meant to say what other handle options have you seen a 3XL knot in?

I've seen an Emilion XL.

Hi Bryan,
I believe the M&F 30mm knot has traditionally been available only in the 3XL handle.
More recently, there have been several Emillion XL brushes pictured on the forums with this larger knot.
That's about it as far as standard offerings of this larger size knot, as far as I'm aware.

An Emillion XL with Heritage hair might be a spectacular thing for a bowl latherer like me. If I hadn't just placed an order from Lee a couple of days ago...

You can always ask him if he will sell you just the knot and you can set it in a handle you prefer! Biggrin

Another great collection of M&F brushes! Ben, which model is this? The 664?
