With all the talk about Mystic Water lately I broke out a new Mysore Sandalwood and took it to the bowl. I have had issues with the lather dissipating over time so really tried this time. Loaded up for a while with a fairly dry brush and lathered adding small amounts of water at a time, very small amounts. Once I was happy with it I loaded up the brush and let it sit. The pictures speak for themselves. I know it's not in my face but still.

Thanks but It's actually a timer thing for the kitchen a friend got us from Williams Sonoma, were so swanky you know Smile

Sure looks like an iPod now that I'm looking at it.

Thank you for posting those photos. That's why I'm always puzzled when I read comments about "thin, disappearing lather"...when I make lather as a demo it's like what you show...and it lasts...and lasts...

I cannot get decent results out of MW for the life of me, but I know others have zero issues with it. Thanks for showing that as with everything it's a YMMV issue. That lather is insanely stable. Now if only I could achieve that. Confused

I had similar problems. I'm guessing I wasn't loading enough. I would get what appeared to be a descent lather, put it on my face. By the time I shaved one side of my face, the lather was gone on the other. After seeing this and reading some other posts, the problem was probably me.
