5 brands & 12 scents remain in my limited rotation.

I'm a blessed fella. So thankful to enjoy shaving now!

A nice group of artisan soaps, and some terrific sounding scents. Those will keep you busy for some time. Enjoy!

For liking the same style of lather, our collections couldn't look any less alike!

Out of curiosity, why have you chosen to forego the more established "standards" (MdC excepted, of course) from your collection?

That would be a very difficult task for me to pare down to that few. I am having some success in getting rid of some, but not like this.

On a side note, I've never tried any of thy brands you have there.

I've tried many, many of the other big names and found them wanting when compared to MdC. Now with so many great artisans making soap in a similar fashion to my favorite there is even less reason for me to have them around anymore. Now I can get MdC quality shaves in multiple scents & at a lower cost.

This is a commendable goal to strive for. It's a fact that everybody's preferred lineup is way different than everybody else's. And change is inevitable!Biggrin

Brian, of your preferred brands, unfortunately, I've only got one of them, the MdC. May I ask, do you have backups for these, or do you just buy one of each at a time? I find myself getting nervous if I just have one.

Both of my MdC jars are like new. The Fougère is 56 shaves in while the Signature is only 11 shaves in. When they get to about half capacity then I will order another pot of each, or maybe the brain bowl.

I can see MdC, Tiki, Dapper Dragon, and Catie's Bubbles. What's the fifth brand?

That makes perfect sense to me.

It is the mystery Blue Pill soap in the DVH bowl in the middle that I have been testing lately. It is soon to be released but until then I may not say more.

Ah ok, I see it now. I thought that was just the bottom of an empty lather bowl.

Ravi, could you imagine both how quickly that shave soap would sell and how expensive it would be?

Of course, if such a soap existed, I would need an XXL handle with a 40mm knot to apply it.Tongue
