Thanks for the kind words. It seems to me that Frank Shaving has long fallen into a pattern of the very early runs of a product being of a tighter quality and then the second set of product runs having more issues.
The early Black Handled 28 mm synthetic brush though not the quality level of Mühle in terms of Glue Bump was at least better than the second round (higher production volumes ???) of product such as the one shown in this video with glue all over the knot ends and perhaps even more inside.
The pricing has also stunned me recently with FS as well. I bought the early Black Handle brush for $38 plus shipping of $6 for a total of less than $50. Now recently they wanted and sold one over $100 on e-Bay. I would like to take a look at one of the knots in a stand alone configuration to see what is going on with it.

I ordered another handle and i glued on it.

I have tested few (not high price) synthetics but weren't satisfied
This on pleasures me a lot,i use it in face lather.
Maybe yours had some issues,FS has such problems because his production line isn't steady !
Some of his Pure badgers are my favourite but as you can see in "Doryferon Test" in an older post some of them where the worst.
