Well my new Mühle R89 came this morning and I couldn't wait to use it!!
Fantastic shave with only one nick! And that was on my nose!!!!
Used Gillette 7s yellow and Geo F Trumper extract of Limes soap.

Hooked after one shave!!

You got off easier than I did from my first DE-shave - looked like I had gone though a meat grinder Smile

Still... your nose? How you manage to nick your nose?

David, I once had a friend and mentor who always said "never look back"! It's all a part of the journey! Keep us posted, my friend!

BiggrinI've absolutely no idea how I did it but it took ages to stop bleeding!! Even with styptic.

Nice one David - well done mate. Smile

Let me know if you need any more blades, creams or soaps to try and I'll happily PIF some up-country to you.

One of my first times I somehow ran the blade sideways where the top of my lip meets the skin and it was SO painful and bled for hours and hours. So you're doing good. Like others said, it only gets easier. At one time I was a bit nervous to try DE shaving and now I find it very calming and rewarding.
