I ordered this brush last week, and had my first shave with it today:

Very interesting brush, and my first horse hair. I love the handle, beautiful olive wood. The size is good as well for face lathering.
I found that it's softer out of the box than both of my Semogue boars were, but it had way more scritch to it than the boars. Kind of a paradox to me. It lathered great though, and held enough for 3 passes.
This one will go into my brush rotation, along with my 2 Semogues: 620 and 1470.

That is a gorgeous handle! Although I don't experience too much scritch with my horse brushes, when I push down I can definitely feel some stiff bristles in there that are scritchy and that have the potential to be bothersome. I usually maintain a lighter touch to avoid any potential irritation. The feel will improve with more and more use.
Thanks for sharing and congrats on your new brush
