Heartbleed

I hate having to think up new cryptic super-hard to remember passwords for every web site I may have visited in the past two years.
Is anyone else going on a password changing binge?

It sounds like you only have to worry if you changed your password in the last couple of days. Before you make or change a password wait for the site to update to a safe OpenSSL version. You can check a website for the heartbleed bug here: https://lastpass.com/heartbleed/

What a pain in the butt all of this is.

Lastpass is a godsend for me. I've been a subscriber for a few years now. I don't have to remember any passwords other than my lastpass one. Addons for IE, Chrome, Firefox, Dolphin for Android, certainly something or other for iOS ..... For $12 a year it's a great subscription. The addons will even generate cryptic passwords for each site if you want it to and then you know you are safe sound.

I can't believe this security hole has been out there longer than originally thought.
