I got in a new razor that I snagged the other day and thought I would share with the community.
It is a Gillette 1930's "New" Short Comb razor in rhodium....About 3 weeks ago I was luck enough to score a
1930's "New" long comb in rhodium, so this was a perfect score to now have a short & long comb in my collection.
The long comb was not to aggressive, but from what I have been told the short comb is quite an aggressive razor.....
So we shall see....Biggrin

Wow, I got one myself but that one is just in stunning condition.
Beautiful. I assume it was replated and whoever did it did a fantastic job (no loss of details at all on the handle, etc).

Thanks.....It was replated in rhodium and I agree he did a fantastic job, as I think he works as a jeweler and told me that the rhodium that he does on all the razors that he refinishes is twice as thick so they hold up well.....

I have the New LC and SC...and find not much difference in aggressiveness between the two. Both are great shavers.
I also have a Fatip Piccolo. I have to pay much more attention when using the Fatip than when using the New LC and SC.

I think most people, including myself, feel the same way.
No significant difference between SC and LC (I swear people that say there is would fail a 'blind test' Smile ).

Fantastic shavers though!

First to the OP great and nice looking razor.

Second, to doing a blind test, that would be an interesting opportunity.... How to hide the razor that they someone is using.... blindfolding them? Biggrin

I just got this great mental image from that statement.
