I've been looking for a shaving bowl for a while now. I wanted it to be cheap, and look good. I found a seller on Etsy selling "seconds" that he'd made for almost half price. I decided to try one. It came today, packed very well with a nice hand written note (always a nice touch). Honestly, I don't know why he considers these seconds, it looks great to me. It fits in my palm wonderfully and the curved sides seemed to help keep my test lather in the bowl.

Overall, I'm very happy with this little bowl. And at $18 shipped, the price was great too!

Beautifully shaped bowl. The swirls help keep the lather in the bowl. Congratulations and use it well.

This my JaysClay bowl. The shape is unique and, to me, the shape lends to a better grip. I have it loaded with a puck of MWF. It is functional and fun to use. I have found Etsy to be a good source for smaller artisan potters; nice products and reasonable prices.

Those are some fantastic looking bowls.
If I didn't have my Robert Becker scuttle I'd be tempted to pick one up myself!

Thanks Fellas!
I'm dragging myself away from the warm house and my hot coffee to hit the shop and get today's throwing done and it's nice to run across the happy customer. -Jay
