It recently struck me that I haven't seen any posts by him in quite some time, and this time of year he'd definitely be posting about the garden.
Hey Brian,
Mike seems to be doing well as a husband and father.
If you're in the Twitter-verse you will see he appears to be healthy and well

And the garden photos are popping up!
Blessings,
James

Hi Brian and gentlemen
I needed to take some time away (which ended up being longer than I envisioned), refocus on family and (part-time) work...
The wife started a new job toward the end of 2013, she finally! got to start using her BSc, which made, still makes, her very! happy.
Beta started Kindergarten in August last year, thankfully he seems to really enjoy school (for the most part), fingers-crossed this will continue for years to come.
Work increased for me toward the end of 2013, then last year it also increased a couple more times throughout the year. Though I am still *only* working part-time (from home), I am probably now working approximately 3 full-days a week, which is almost ideal, as it still allows me to look after Alpha and Beta properly ie They get to stay at home when there is no school, instead of having to put them into some sort of care... Get them off to school safely; be there for them when they get off the school bus; help with homework -- Beta (a Kindergarten) gets a LOT! more than Alpha (6th Grade). I honestly feel sorry for him, as nearly everyday he has about 30 minutes of homework to do, while Alpha rarely has anything to do (though I make sure he reads why Beta is busy doing his homework).
Working and enjoying my garden.
Now that I have logged back in and dipped my toe back in, I should be back posting, though I will have to make sure I manage my time spent here better than I did in the past. Family will come first and foremost, everything else a very! distant second...
Take care, Mike
Edit: Fixed my poor grammar.
