Leica D.R.P. Ernst Leitz Wetlar No.201942
It is in a very vintage leather wrap marked Canon and Made in Occupied Japan.
The lens is a Canon camera Co No 23695 Serenar 50mm and appears to fit well as if made for the Leica body.

These lenses go for BIG dollars themselves and the vintage Leica, well....It is a TANK.
Thought I would offer this to you Gents before it goes off to a potential private sale or online elsewhere. Currently exclusive to Nook guys.

$350 OBO Shipped CONUS

I had one of these ones and it's still a fantastic camera!!

The lens on it is a screw-mount (as opposed to the later bayonett mounts). Nice lens but a bit short on contrast.

If I had not, sadly, moved on to digital I would had been very tempted Smile

Good luck with the sale!
