I purchased some soaps from the Stirling Soap Company in Texas recently and this morning I used one of the latest and newest versions of the Glacial soaps, called Glacial Spearmint. Here are my findings:

Ease of lathering: 9/10--Very easy to lather. It's a thirsty soap however, so some extra water is a good idea.

Longevity of lather: 9/10--Holds up well and is very slick and rich.

General skincare: 10/10--Bitterly-cold menthol effect, very moisturizing and protective. Wonderful feeling!

Scent: 10/10--Strong spearmint scent with heavy menthol notes. I love it!

Price: 9/10--Very reasonably-priced. 7,00$ USD ain't no budget-buster to me.

Would I buy again: 10/10--Most definitely and assuredly I will. This soap is up my alley!

Rod Lovan and his wife Mandy are wonderful people who put so much time and effort into their soap-making business, and the Glacial line is the absolute KING of the mentholated "freeze your face off" soaps. Does this stuff ever smell beautiful, it lathers wonderfully, and in seconds your eyes will start tearing and your nose might start running, and your teeth might start chattering. A cold water rinse will make the menthol feel 10 times more intense, and if you slap on the Osage Rub or Alcolado Glacial I guarantee you'll be frozen stiff just about all day!

Jeff, I have no idea how you can tolerate all of that menthol living where you do, especially, in the winter! Biggrin

It's so easy to when you're a menthol lover!
