Another poll…
Based on performance (not scent) what is your favorite stick?

Shave Stick Week:
Also, I am going to do 1 week of shaves with sticks, starting (tomorrow) Saturday.
I have these 6 sticks, so I will do each stick once…
And I'll do whichever I like best on the 7th day.

Please join me, and we can have our comments in this thread!

Valobra stands at the head of the class for me. My La Toja is the older formulation, and that is also excellent, but not as good as Valobra.

I can't really argue with you… but I'm not voting on this one.

Hey, BTW, where did the snow go? Smile

If you see any, send it to me, here in Utah! I'll take a snowstorm (in the mountains) whenever.

You didn't include the Lea shave stick (the only one I've tried lol). It's great.

Well, that gives you the perfect excuse to buy some others then, right? Biggrin

Out of the ones listed I went with Tabac. There are 2 more that I like, besides LEA, that aren't listed. They would be the De Vergulde Hand shave stick and the Williams shave stick made in South Africa. There are quite a few more I am sure.

The Tabac stick never lets me down. Awesome lather and slickness.

Having said that I'm travelling tomorrow and decided to take a Speick stick with me. So many glowing reports so I'm keen to try this one out.

I used Palmolive stick today.
Went great!
Only the second time I've used it and both shaves were very comfortable.
Face feels good!

Certainly is a good one!!

Anyone tried the Wilkinson Sword stick? I have not used mine yet, but have test-lathered it a couple times and seems promising.
In another board (site), it actually won a poll vote.
Anyway…

I've used the Wilkinson stick. It gives a nice lather, comparable to Palmolive. The best part about it is that it's a tallow based stick, and also has lanolin. I get a great post shave feel from it.

You don't have an option for "other".
I don't use any of the choices you posted. Biggrin

Sorry, I thought I had all the big boys, but I guess not! In fact I'm looking where I can get a Lea stick right now.

For me, from this list, the La Toja. However, Lea works great for me and ranks right up there with La Toja, Valobra, Palmolive, etc. I love to use my Semogue 1438 to face lather with the Lea...great lather; close and comfortable shave.Heart
