What is your preferred 'no nonsense' or 'no fuss, no muss' razor/blade that you reach for, in times where a quick shave is required and there's no time for a leisurely 3+ pass BBS journey.
In other words, what's the razor/blade of choice to be used when in a hurry, providing the most efficient 'one pass' result ...

For me ... Cobra Classic

Chime in, everyone ... Biggrin

Mach3, but only when I'm in a hurry. In the past 3 months, I've only been in a hurry once.

One-pass shave? Wow! Even in a hurry, I will always do at least two, but usually three, but very quickly!
Still the same razor as usual! Biggrin

+1 For me this is the finest shaving system on the market. I have a Feather shavette that uses the same blades, but you don't get the control and ease of use. Great razor. Tongue

I would go with the Cobra and Kai Mild for a 1 pass "Get in Get out" shave.

Since I only have a straight and a Lady Gillette, usually with a Dorco blade, and since my technique is better with the DE, and considering the straight takes longer to prep....
a Lady Gillette with a Dorco blade. And believe it or not, I can get a great one pass shave with that. The razor and blade are much less important than the experience and technique of the hand that wields it. MHO.

There's no such thing as a one pass shave for me. It's either do it right or don't do it at all.

+1

If I don't have time to shave right, I'll shave in the evening instead... people just have to deal with the fact that I sport a 5 o'clock shave in the morning.

Likewise. Any shave for me has to be a full 3 pass or I feel it's a job half done. Thankfully, this isn't a situation I come up against that often.

R41 (2013)with a Feather blade. It's a quick, 2 pass bbs everytime anymore. That extra 5 minutes is worth it.
