On it's way to me in the next few days thanks to a Gent who I have had trading with in the past. A true GEM of my humble shave den. Will be paired with my near perfect Heljestrand MK31 in Ivory for a "Salt & Pepper" Gentlemen's set. Would love to locate a Kindal Paris or CVH case to fit them both in. Until then I will house them in a vintage double coffin. this razor was part of a Seven Day set purchased in Paris at the Kindal shop circa 1910 and owned by a Los Angeles collector for decades. Marked "Mardi" for Tuesday.

Very nice, the few I've owned and the many I've honed and that's quite a few lately the one thing I'm not a fan of when It comes to Heljestrands is the heavy grinds they tend to be quarter hollows and I don't like honing them neither do I like the shave they give, my last one was a NOS Heljestrand Le Duc I traded the razor for a Japanese western style I was more than pleased with the trade.

Thank you Toby, the tortoise did me in.
I must agree the full hollow are my choice everytime, beautiful looking scales on your razor, it would be a difficult choice between your Heljestrand with Ivory or with Tortoiseshell I have no idea which one I would choose.?
