I received Glacial-wintergreen, which smells like a can of skoal. Awesome!! Also received Sharp Dressed Man, which smells awesome too. Can't wait to try these. Stirling also sent a sample of their Rose soap. Really liking this company.

Rod is a great guy to deal with. Stirling Anise and Scots Pine with mutton tallow are a couple of staples in my rotation.

I'm a fan of the grapefruit scented soap. Really a nice soap. The bath soaps are great, too.

I used the Glacial-Wintergreen today, froze my face! Felt very good and I really love that scent. I'm not a dipper but I always loved the smell of skoal and this soap smells just like it to me. This will be a summer time staple for sure.

Rod's Lime is a must have for summer, it's brilliant, and lathers like a beast.

I have all the Glacial variants, the MITA, Black Ice, and Rosemary Mint. Rod's soaps are treasures and he is a wonderful guy. His customer service cannot be beaten.

Just used the Glacial Obsidian. WOW! I had no idea of the menthol level, Intense Good! Great lather, incredible scent, and the service as mentioned above is excellent. My face is still cold 20 min. Post-shaveSmile

When I finally get around to ordering soaps online, Stirling will be the first place I go. The reputation here and elsewhere is stellar, and I can buy from him using a credit card, as opposed to mike's natural, which I'd love to try, but I don't do paypal.
I already have some standard soaps and creams that I can get locally that I'm perfectly happy with, so if I buy online it will be artisan soaps, at least at first.

Rod's soaps are a staple in my Den. For menthol, I prefer the MITA (Margaritas in the Arctic). My other current residents are Ozark Mountain, Spice(think Old Spice), Bay Rum, Scots Pine Sheep, Lavender Sage, Clubman, and Coniferous. I have samples of Lime and Anise that I am trying to get to...........

As everyone has said Rod is great to deal with. You will not get better customer service anywhere.

#1 on the MITA - you should try the Black Ice also. It's really good. Smile

Black Ice is basically the Anise with menthol added. I have the Anise soap and follow it with the Black Ice splash. Good stuff.

But my current favorite from his line up is his new Gin & Tonic soap. Great stuff.

I broke a long period of no shaving purchases and picked up samples of Ozark, Gin & Tonic, and Frozen Tundra, a full puck of Black Cumin & Orange, and a Tuscany bath bar. I haven't tried any but the bath bar. Performs great, but I'm not a big fan of the scent.

I need to cut my hoard in half an focus on only those soaps I truly love. I think Stirling will one I keep.
