*** SOLD ***

Gentlemen,

With all the improvising with shave heads and handles, I have this brand new Merkur 25C long handle open comb left over. I don't need it. It's never been used. These Merkur open combs are good shavers, but mild for open combs. If you've never tried an open comb, this makes for a good introduction. Also, with the handle being a mile long, you'll have a great time if you have big hands. The price is $27 shipped U.S. Paypal is fine. Thanks.

Nice offering, Obie. I agree - this razor would give a "new to open combs" shaver a nice starting point. Best of luck!

Thanks, Bill. Yes, it's a fine razor and a good introduction to open combs. In perfect shape, obviously. These Merkur open combs are the opposite of Joris and the Muhle R41 in aggressiveness. They are really sweet and gentle shavers. You also can't beat the price.
Stay well,
Obie

Is this the same shaving head as the Merkur 1904 classic open comb?

Johnny,
As far as I know, the 1904, 15C and 25C all use the same open comb shave head. I have all three shave heads and they all look and shave alike. Now, I could be wrong, of course, but from my experience, you're looking at the same shave head.

If it shaves anything like the 1904 Classic, I know I will.
