Very nice, Juan.

The colored handles on the EJ razors will certainly appeal to women, I would imagine.

I think that the purple, pink and red razors are just fabulous.Wink

Kidding aside, what is the difference between the new "Knurled" and the old "Barley"? They look identical from the photos. Are the grooves just deeper on the Knurled, but still less than the "3d Laser Diamond"?

Talking to Neil from Edwin Jagger earlier this month, he mentioned that they had an increase demand of DE razors from women . So, the original though was to offer some DE razors which colors that in theory would appeal more to women.

I fully agree that stereotypes are made to knock them down and reality is proving that those colors are also suitable and appealing to men. One thing is clear to me; the new colors are opening discussions everywhere!

The difference between both handles is the pattern used. The new Knurled razor handle shape imitates a honeycomb shape whilst the “old Barley” shape is made by lines of dots.
Another difference is that the bottom part of both handles is different.

Good lord that's a lot of handles all for the same head. Good luck with keeping up with all that inventory.

I own 7-8 Edwin Jagger DE razors and just bought the 3D laser handles version.
It's a far better grip, but I don't seem to have problems with the grip on the old style handles, but the new one gives you a super tight grip.

I don't like the longer handled R89 Grande from Mühle, and since Edwin Jagger handled in the basic versions share the hollow handle, I would not want to add the longer handle to my collection.

Had to sell my Mühle R89 Grande because it just felt ....... Too hollow.
However I own the Edwin Jagger Bulbous Lined Chrome DE and the Fusion version as well and also own the Edwin Jagger Chatsworth Barley Chrome and the Fusion version as well, and all 4 razors share an excellent solid long handled feel with no feel of hollowness - but they are also 3-4 times more expensive. As usual price and quality follows each other.

But with that said, the basic Edwin Jagger and Mühle DE razors are all high quality and great shaving tools for the price and I proudly own a good deal of both brand razors in my DE razor collection.

Just bought the new Mühle R89 Twist, which supposedly is almost as long as the R89 Grande, 5 mm shorter, but because of the twist to open action, the inside of the handle has a mechanism, which makes the handle feel solid and not hollow.

Look forward to adding that to my collection, when it arrives the next couple of days.......Cool

If Bubba Watson can win the Masters with a Pink Ping Driver, I can shave with a pink handled razor. I think I'll look for some pink scales for my straights.

Cris, we have had the leather travel from 1st picture case for while. I would guess that it's on our shop from very beginning, 2011 or even 2010.

http://www.giftsandcare.com/en/travel-ac...negro.html

There are another 2 cases, not leather made, launched this spring. Those are available in our shop for very few months now.

Black texture fabric with orange: stitching http://www.giftsandcare.com/en/travel-ac...agger.html

Black carbon fiber effect material: http://www.giftsandcare.com/en/travel-ac...agger.html

Thanks Juan! I have been waiting for a particular type of case to be released for some time now. I like the two new cases very much!
