I love coconut scents. I really like that Mystic Water's version. My favorites so far are probably QCS and Haslinger. How's the Jabonman?

I'll take the Jabonman and the MW. I wouldn't want to have to admit you Smile

Seriously though. I have the GFT coconut cream and have to stop myself from eating it! I can only imagine what the Jabonman and the MW are like!

They're all wonderful ... I have the Haslinger and Mike's versions hidden away somewhere too.

I'm told the JabonMan Coco is no longer available ... because of lack of sales ... Huh

What's your take on the Jabonman and the MW? Super strong or mellow? I really like the mellowness of the GFT. Just a nice smooth scent.

My favorite, for those warm days, is vintage tallow-based Trumper Coconut Oil soap.

While I normally like Mike's a lot, I didn't love the sweetness in his version. More like suntan lotion.

What's your favourite, Ravi?
I also love Coconut, and Manuel is sending me one now, I haven't tried his yet.

I personally dislike TOBS' version, to me it does not smell like coconut, but like coconut cream.
My current favourite is GFT Coconut Oil.

Mike's is good. I wish it was white instead of brown, though.

I like coconut scents, but they do not appear to like me.

Whenever a try a coconut scented product from artisan soaps to TOBS cream, I get a burning reaction. I'm often sensitive to fragrance oils, and I imagine that coconut products are very heavily scented.

Steve, I made some coconut preshave oil, and it really burned me, no doubt a reaction to the EO or FO I used. However, I do fine with the vintage Trumper soap. (I haven't tried the modern version of it.)

I tend to fare better with essential oils compared to fragrance oils, but any heavily scented product has a good chance of irritating me. As I generally prefer both subtle and simple natural scents like lavender or citrus varieties, it hasn't really limited my cream and soap choices.

I am nuts over coconut scent. The only soaps that I've tried are JabonMan, Mike's, and Petal Pusher Fancies, and at least for me, PPF is the hands down winner in terms of scent. Imagine the scent of suntan oil on a pretty young thing in a bikini at the beach in the summer--that's PPF. Mike's and JabonMan are more mature, reliable scents that are hard not to like. At my age, I'll take PPF.

I thought the haslingers coconut was amazing. Lathered like a beast and provided some of.the best shaves. Puck lasted for a long time.

So Manuel does have some, David?
I used all mine and like Ravi, was told no more production due to lack of interest which I find quite unbelievable. I have just emailed Manuel to get an update...maybe he changed his mind.
