I agree, used few while on holiday brake.  I got great shaves from it.

Still prefer Fusion, just works better for my tough beard, where the Mach 3 can get into trouble.

On the other and, for my 2.nd pass the Mach 3 works perfect.

I got a fantastic shave from a Fusion this past Sunday.  Was in a hurry and I normally grab a cart to shave in the shower.  Had not used Fusion in a long time, but found a spare cartridge in my razor blade drawer.  Popped it on the handle and got a very close shave.  Didn't last as long as my DE or SE (OneBlade) shaves, but was still very good.  Has me thinking about grabbing some refills.

Fusion was the only thing that was working for me, but that was before de/see and straight's.

Know that is something in the past I don't want to remember  Rolleyes

I have some Mach 3 blades to back up my DE blades, but I don't care to and don't want to use them.

Mach 3 was the only cartridge that didn't pull or cause bumps.

Used a cart for the first time in over 3.5 years.
Gillette Sensor Excel, the blade I came from before switching to DE. Apparently the handle is discontinued but they still make the blades.
Nice shave and my skin feels very nice and smooth and non-irritated.

Prefer Gillette Fusion Proglide.   Best cart I have ever used.  The trimmer blade is a nice touch as well, although that is on other Fusion carts as well.

I prefer the Mach 3, but I wish the price of the carts would go down. I also love the Gillette Atra as their are a variety of aftermarket carts are compatible with it and I love the feel of my vintage metal handle.

For you other Mach 3 fans out there, Tactile Turn sells some very nice looking handles for the Mach 3 & Fusion, the Primer and Parer razor handles . The Mach 3 line is called the Pruner and is available in two models. The stainless steel Pruner is made of 316L stainless steel and weighs 3 oz (86g) and is the one I ordered. The titanium Pruner is made of 6AL-4V titanium and weighs 1.80 oz (52g). Both Mach 3 models look the same and measure in at 5 inches in length and 0.5 inches in width. I ordered the stainless steel Pruner as I prefer heavier handles.
I dont use Fusions but their Fusion line is the Parer. The stainless steel Parer weighs 4.9 oz (138g), & the titanium one weighs 3.1 oz (88g). They measure in at 5.39 inches in length and 0.62 inches in width.
