Looking to try a straight so thought I would try here first

What I'm being told is that I should start with a 5/8 full hollow ground solingen. Obviously it would need to be shave ready. A beginner strop would be great too! If you have a straight that would fit the bill at a reasonable price let me know!

I didn't mention that service because I have not been impressed with the quality of the "sight unseen" aspect. I have not been a patron of his but I really think that there are enthusiasts out here with $40 to $50 shave ready straights that are better. SIMPLY MY OPINION. I am very picky about my straights.

I am a little nervous about sight unseen so it's an option but still looking for members that have one they would part with.
