I got this razor in a trade for some work only because I wanted the scales.
Simple really. Take my model 72 Otto Fromm and fit it with the scales I liked. The blade ( a Fromm Red Head) was really toast. Scales,,,,, very cool.
Cleaned up my blade.
The scales were fine but the pretty bolsters were buried under quite a bit of plastic. These shots show after I removed quite a bit.
Anyway, it all came out OK I believe. I'm happy with it and it'll show up in my rotation.

Aren't bolsters just great.
They're like a diamond on a woman's finger.

Love them, they definitely kick the scales up a notch. The 5/8 Fromm 72 is a wonderful blade.

Shaved with it last night. Oh my word! Flat out amazing.

As I write this I'm wrapping up a Kron-Punkt which I think should be right up there as well.

Mine has the same ugly scales as in the first photo, but I won't sell it just because it gives such a wonderful shave. I may have to add it to my list of what is going your way for work.
