I have been hunting for a quality Rose soap for a long time now and nothing has ever caught my fancy. Recently, I purchased the Catie's Bubbles Rose soap and it was the perfect Rose scent. It was the truest, earthiest rose I have come across. Many rose products come across as very artificial and the CB soap smells so natural and real.

Problem is, I was not crazy about the lather or the performance. I know people here are fond of this product, but to me, it was lacking in all other areas other than scent.

I'm just looking to be pointed in the right direction on a quality Rose soap.

Klar Kabbinet. Hands down. Too bad they stoped making it. If you can find some on the BST you may want to give it a shot.

I've never tried KK, I will certainly keep an eye out or possibly post a BST.

I also am going to recommend a Mystic Water soap, but I like Rosalimone best. A beautiful scent. Rose paired with lemon. Really nice.

My absolute favorite Rose scent is Mike's Rose & Cedarwood, and the fact that it performs incredibly makes it one of my all-time favorites Biggrin

I'll also give honorable mention to QCS Rose Otto.

My vote goes to QCS Rose Otto. It's a masculine rose scent in that it's not a sweet scent. I have tried several and this is the only one I currently have.

You can also check out C&S 88. While I like the performance the soap scent is somewhat muted with a bit of clay-like scent amongst the rose.

I definitely say C&S No. 88.
I think it smells like a rose garden in a rainstorm. Muggy and wet smelling rose, IMO. I love it.

To me, it smells like bubble gum.

I love Catie's Bubbles La Rose du Mèchant, but close seconds are Nanny's Silly Soap Rose Geranium, and Fitjar Frost Rose.

Caties was the absolute best smelling rose soap. I just did not like the lather.

Stirling Rose is nice. Also, one of my favorites is RazoRock's San Valentino..it's a rose/lemon, but still very "rosey" while having a nice masculine quality to it.
Mystic Water is very nice, but if you're having trouble lathering Catie's Bubbles, I hesitate to recommend it, as MW is one of the top problematic artisan soaps, for some people.

My vote goes to two soaps: Klar Kabbinet and Fitjar's Soap or Cream "Frost Rose." I am fortunate to have enough Klar Kabbinet that I will never go wanting but I still have Frost Rose in my den. I was fortunate to have been able to use the Frost Rose last Novemeber as part of the Scent Off 2013 sponsored by Mark aka Mantic59. Here's the link to his website and the reviews for the soap if interested -

http://sharpologist.com/2013/11/fitjar-s...-rose.html.

There's a good review of Frost Rose on TSN provided by Teiste. The review can be found at:

A lot of good recommendations found above. Good luck with your search.

+1 on Stirling Rose. Not a typical rose scent - it's more earthy than perfume-y. I love the slick lather of Stirling soaps so there's that, too.
