that's beautifullllllll.

excuse my ignorance but does NOS mean that it's an old razor that was never used, or a modern remake of a classic/old design?

Very nice razor but keep an eye on what is happening under the rubber tang cover when using it.

Beautiful razor Richard. I do share Bob's concern about corrosion developing under the rubber sleeve on the tang. The current Dovo Bergischer Lowe razor also has a rubber sleeve on the tang. If it was my razor I would remove the rubber sleeve, but that's an entirely subjective choice.

I know what it stands for but that doesn't answer the question. I'm not sure if that's an unused old razor or a newly produced razor of an old/classic design. In the car world I'm pretty sure new old stock are parts that are made for older cars but are newly made parts.

Actually it does answer your question as the 'OS' in NOS means that it is from old, original stock - and that the item is 'as new'. Smile

Bob

Thanks for the advice. I just had a very small spot of rust show up on a fairly new Hart Steel razor that I've always carefully dried and stored in a silicon sleeve, so I can imagine what the rubber tang would do. After using it with the rubber tang a couple of times, I'll remove it.
