My wife of 46 years objects to scent in soaps and creams, and I don't want to give her cause for discomfort. I have been looking for unscented items, and it seems there are very few. Would anyone care to share their unscented favorites? Thanks for the input.

My favorite unscented is Mystic Water's Unscented.
Stirling also makes a good 'Naked' one without any scent.

+1 on the KMF scentless - great product at a great price
AOS used to have an unscented soap and cream
MWF - no detectable scent after use

I believe the majority of the artisanal soaps, if not all, have an unscented version of their soaps. There are quite a few to choose from.

If you want to go a little upscale, Martin de Candre also makes a fragrance-free version of their shave soap.

Technically this is true, but of all the unscented soaps available, this one probably has the most noticeable scent.

I second the recommendation for Mystic Water or Stirling.

Many of the artisans make one. I like Mike's and Mystic (which seems to have a little scent from the calendula in it).

MW unscented is very nice - but 'unscented' here means no additional fragrance/EO added; the soap has a distinct scent due to it's ingredients (which I find very pleasant). It's my fav 'unscented' though. Smile

I assume if you want unscented you are just looking for performance. So, for me, that means you should get the unscented AoS creams. Or XPEC unscented if you are able to conjure up a container of that.

I own a few creams, which I tend ot mix with milder scented soaps in my super lather, when my skin needs a rest.

My favorites:

Martin De Candre Unscented soap
Expec Unscented cream
Simpson Unscented cream
Truefitt & Hill ultimate comfort (very light lavenda in this, very light)

If you want to try an artisan, or rather mine drop me a PM and we can discuss what you would like me to send. Everything I make is made from individual ingredients rather than a pre-made base. Then scent is added later when it's ordered based on the customer preference. (Unless it's premade and ready to ship) So with mine any scent smelled will come from the natural scent that comes from the ingredients used.

Some commercial made products add scent to hide those natural scents. They may also use ingredients that add scent under different names other than parfum/fragrance.

While I prefer tallow soaps, VDH Luxury comes in scented and unscented. Its a pretty good soap for $5 and a good sized puck.
