I picked this up at my local Rite Aid. The first time I've seen it and it says its new. On the box it say's it's meant to be used with brush. I'm expecting it to be good like other Nivea Products.

Interesting. Definitely report back. It's always good to have local options available.

I also picked this up yesterday at a Rite Aid in NJ. I haven't used it yet but the scent is just like the AS balm from Nivea.

They have these at a grocery store here in Massachusetts, Stop and Shop. I really like it a lot. It has a nice salty/sweet scent like that Swedish Dream sea salt soap.

I picked up another jar of the Sensitive Balm and it says reformulated. I hope this hasn't affected the performance.

I have used Nivea shaving cream in the past - although I bought it in UK & India. It was good for the price - but not great - IMO. A shade below TOBS and certainly below some of the top creams (XPEC, Als etc) that I've used since.

I just hope it creates better lather than that soap as the Swedish Sea Salt soap might have been the worst shaving soap I've ever had the bad luck to try Smile

I have several tubes of the German version of Nivea shave creams and I think they are wonderful.

Oh yes it does. I got suckered in by some promising takes on the Swedish Dream soaps as shaving soaps. Pretty awful. The Nivea cream creates a nice, thick lather. Just used it this morning and a dime-sized dollop had more than enough for a three or four pass shave.

I sampled it this morning and was pleasantly surprised. For something off of a drugstore shelf its surprisingly good.

The ingredient list is somewhat benign as well.

Nice stuff

Walgreens sells them online. So far I haven't seen any down here in South Texas stores.

Nivea shave cream is easy to find in Canada and has been for years. I don't mind it one bit for shaving with, makes a good lather.

I have a tube of Nivea in my gym bag (because there's a tesco near my gym).
If find it pretty darn good, better than TOBS Lime for instance and on par with Proraso.

They sell this new Nivea cream here in Montreal. I'm debating on whether or not to buy it.

But there is NO menthol !

It is honestly a good cream. Good enough that it is all that is accompanying me this week on my tour of Kentucky distilleries.
