Shave video reviewing the new Razorock slant. Gave me a DFS shave. still need some practise with the exact angle. good razor, improvement on the bakelite but i doubt it will supersede my current go to razor.

Thanks for watching

Great video review. I checked on the website which says sold out. Does anyone know if the razor has actually sold out already or if its just the 'tester' razors sold out?

Just the testers, which sold out in 30 seconds. The full production release hasn't started yet. According to Facebook it should be in a month or so.

...does this razor have any heft to it?

...........the couple of plastic/bakelite razors that i have don't have the weight to them needed for a good close shave...

......i haven't tried this new razor (of course), but i am very skeptical that it can deliver a close shave without the razor head being weighted down....

Harry, it states on Joe's website that the razor weighs 44 oz.
Not sure if that translates to heft, but it seems like many folks are enjoying it, regardless.

I am even tempted to try one when they come out. Biggrin

The STANDARD razor is a great shaver and is very lightweight...possibly a personal preference but weight does not make any difference for me...in fact I prefer light weight and good technique doing the job....most of us do not stay with any one razor long enough to learn how to "use" it properly

I think you mean 44 GRAMS, not 44 oz. 44 ounces would be a seriously huge, heavy razor (two and three-quarter pounds!).
