When I saw Refles' thread on the Simpson M6, I thought that this brush would make a stunning Forum LE brush. It was really just wishful thinking but I made a post wondering if Mark would be interested in such a project. Ravi liked the idea and we exchanged a few PM's hashing out a plan.

We approached Mark with the idea last night and we woke up to an answer. The 2014 Shave Nook LE will be a Simpson M6

The tentative plan is for the M6 to have a faux horn handle and a Manchurian knot. The run will be for 200 brushes with a proposed price of £100.00 plus shipping. The brushes will be engraved and numbered. The price is tentative and should just be considered a ballpark figure at this point.

More information will be forthcoming as the project evolves.

I have included Refles picture of his M6 for illustration purposes.

I would like to give a big thanks to Mark for agreeing to take on this project. I cannot wait to add this brush to my collection and I know many of you feel the same way.

Quite possibly my favorite handle style in one of my favorite materials (with exceptional hair to boot). I've commissioned several makers to make "look alikes" but they will all take a back seat to this one. Standing by for more details.

In my imagination when someone says "shaving brush" the M6 and/or the M7 are what I see in my mind's eye.
