Does anyone know anything about Surrey Soap? A puck of it was included in an ebay auction I won, and I know nothing about it.

Wasn't Surrey and Van Der Hagen the same company?

Cool find!

That's what I read about it on another forum; Surrey became VDH.

Same I heard. It's a very inexpensive glycerine based soap. One of the few shave soaps available locally around here. Goes for a few bucks. In fact, it's recently replaced Williams at one of our local groceries.

That being vintage should be interesting. Not sure when they stopped, but I know they definately make a modern mentholated soap.
