Personna's new website which features some new cartridge razors and disposables. In particular check out the new Personna 3 blade cartridge for an Atra handle.

Next stop, 7-Up.

At least their Bump Fighter razor features a nice, heavy handle that can take Trac II cartridges. (I still prefer the original.)

Dumb question, but where do you see the bump fighter can take trac 2 carts? Trac 2 was a fantastic cartridge (back when I used them).

^ I have used Trac ll carts on a BF handle, but have not tried the reverse, (Personna cart
on T2 handle) they are both slide-ons, and as a young buck, I seem to recall just about
everybody's cart would fit on everybody's handle. some will fit more or less snug, but may still be usable without moving while shaving. Key phrases on blade packages may say such as "fits Trac ll", etc.

Trac2 cartridges fit on the Bumper Fighter handle perfectly.

BF doesn't advertise that it takes Trac carts, but I've used them for years, as well as Personna/generic twin-bladers with the original Trac handle. One big happy shaving family. Smile

What I didn't care for with the Bump Fighter was its propensity for twisting in my hand, despite the rubber grip. Same problem I had with slicker all-metal aftermarket Trac handles. Might have something to do with round vs. square shapes. Or not.

The BF cartridge is slightly different then the regular twin blade cartridge because it has a blade guard but they are all interchangeable with any type of Trac2 handle and the generic version. Pretty cool indeed. Now add in the new Personna triple blade cartridge that also fits wholly molly.

Personna is now owned by Schick and the GT5 is the Schick Quattro 5 in Japan, so products are crossing over..

Actually, ASR/Personna, Schick, and Wilkinson Sword (in Europe) are all owned by Energizer. Products sold as Schick in the US usually sell as Wilkinson Sword in Europe. It looks like the same is now happening with ASR/Personna.

(The Wilkinson Sword brand in India and Brazil is owned by Procter & Gamble, who in turn own Gillette.)

Energizer own the trademark in Europe and North America, the rest of the World is owned by P&G. In Australia for the first ten years Gillette had to license the name to a third party which happened to be SSL.
