Am I missing the "slant" part on the 102? It looks like a flat SB to me. Maybe it's just late and my eyes aren't working Smile

It seems hard to tell it's a slant from pictures, even the DLC slant looks much less "slanty" than they do in your hand. So you're going to offer a new slant and keep offering the current slant but only in DLC? Is there any info you can tell us in the difference and/or how they compare?

I'm digging the 102 based on pictures. ANOTHER one I'll have to try, just when I thought I was nearing good for razors.

Can't see the slant from pictures either. It looks like a copy of the standard Mulcuto/Nadelspitzen razor design to me!

I thought I was blind but I can plainly see the slant in this picture.

That is supposed to be the DLC version of the iKon Slant, not the #102 ;-)

IT'd be a lot more obvious if the head had a blade in it, but it is there. Look at the gap at both ends.

The Mulcuto type design this appears to be based on does not put the typical torsional twist on the blade (helix) like the first iKon slant, Merkur, Fasan, etc. If you were to look at each end of the base plate you would notice instead of the twist, there is a gradual change in thickness from end to end.
That said, I would be more than happy to lend the Henckels open comb slant for installment #3 of the iKon slant rabbit-hole.

That looks very cool. Thanks also to Jeff for sharing the design basis to those of us with a shallower pool of shaving knowledge. I was unfamiliar with the Mulcuto before this.
I'll have to get one of the #102's when they become available.
Tim
