I've been using Captain's Lime, Lucky Tiger, and sometimes Captain's North (the wife doesn't like North, but I do).

Larry (WD) sent me a sample of AquaVelva Ice Blue with my order. I tried it today. While the scent wasn't for me (smells like my grandpa) I loved the cooling menthol!

Is there anything on the market that has the menthol and is more of a citrus scent?

I've seen some guys buy the menthol crystals and put them in Captain's Lime. That might be an option. It's going to get HOT down here in Texas soon, and I think the menthol will feel wonderful!

I just ordered a tiny amount of menthol crystals on the 'bay. For less than $3, I'll give it a try and see if spiking the Captain is worth it or not????

Not at all citrus, but make sure you enjoy Skin Bracer. One of my favorites and a drug store classic.

I ran the Aqua Velva Ice blue smell by the wife last night. She didn't totally object to it. Actually said it smelled kind of nice. I picked up a bottle of it, for less than $5 even if I don't like it down the road it's no big loss.

I think I'm becoming a menthol junkie! Biggrin

This.

One that is a little easier to obtain that could work would be AV Ice Sport. Kind of a GIT/Cool Water vibe to it. Can be found in grocery stores where I live.

I got my menthol crystals yesterday. I dropped 3 of the bigger ones (my bag was mostly menthol dust Biggrin) in my Captain's Choice Lime. They took a while to dissolve.

I used it this morning after my shave.... WOW! This is my new favorite AS! I loved Captain's Lime before, but now it's even better!

another vote for Fine Italian Citrus (or Fine L'Orange Noir for that matter). Great value, great scent, great menthol cooling delight.

You could start cheap and go with Florida Water. Nice and fresh citrus.
