Jim, I'm so sorry that you lost such a beautiful razor. Since it was stolen from your property, I wonder whether your homeowner's insurance would cover it.

That's a very desirable Filarmonica even though the gold wash was removed the blade is superb and the makers mark is perfect it's also an early model possibly 1930s or 1940s, the fact that it's very much a highly sought after model may be the thief's downfall, I also know the person who sold the razor he's a very nice bloke he's from Barcelona and I've had dealings with him in the past.

Are there any distinguishing marks on the razor at all? I know you said restored to perfection but is there something I should look out for that would be noticeable?

Very sorry to hear. If not done so already I would put out word to the local pawn shops. I will help watch for it on the bay and some other forums. 98% sure the jerk(s) that stole it wont know what they have and will try to price it somewhere.
