These are unnumbered brushes ... otherwise exactly the same as the original numbered LE series.

Thanks Ravi. I just picked up a numbered Texugo from the B/S/T, I really like it and am considering purchasing a backup.

So many products, so little money Sad

Every year Bruno has a one day anniversary sale. I picked-up cherry SOC in both boar and two-band for a great price.

He also has a coupon code for 10% that is always available (and could be combined with his sale!). Since the code is connected to another shave forum, I cannot post-it publicly. However, simply PM me and all secrets will be revealed.Biggrin

Bruno has excellent customer service. It certainly couldn't hurt to email him, state that you were unavailable yesterday due to the holiday weekend, and inquire if the discount is still available. You would have nothing to lose.

Bruno is great to work with. I emailed him that I would be out of town on the 24th and would not have Internet access. He mailed back to order the following Monday and he would honor the sale which I did.Smile

Unfortunately I was traveling during the sale as well. I did email Bruno - but it appears he's been offline for a bit. No response yet. No complaints though - sometimes one does miss sales... :-)

He got me this year and I succumbed and purchased a Semogue 730. How can I resist beautiful acrylic handles?! Wink

I love this brush, nice handle even though wood isn't usually my first choice, and it's a bit small. The knot is a perfect fan with a nice loft that has no flop because of the lovely soft two band hair's resilience. I'm always impressed by this brush and it's value when I use it...makes great cream and accurately applies it to my face with very good flow through, and nice face presentation especially for a smaller width knot. I almost just bought another one as backup because I like this brush so much, and really because the majority of my other two band brush's are bulb shaped, only excluding this one and my Simpson two band Manchurian hair knots. I finally pulled the trigger on a Thater Two-band fan 4125/1, which is listed w/a couple mm wider knot than this Semogue Texugo...I hope it provides nearly the enjoyment of this Semogue brush.

This brush is smaller than the SOC 2-band and has a shorter loft as well? How does it compare in feel vs the SOC?

The hair is noticeably more enjoyable for my tastes. It has none of the scrub/scritch that the SOC 2-Band hair usually exhibits. the handle is comfortable but smaller than the SOC...I really think the BC Texugo brush is an amazing value, and a step up from the SOC in regards to the knots hair quality and perfect loft to width ratio to match the hairs qualities.

Then I hope they decide to make a similar sized brush with the same knot as a regular offering. The SOC size is nice for bowl lathering but when I shifted to face lathering, it suddenly felt so much bigger!
