hello everybody ! i am new to TSN. I want to add a new brush, preferably badger brush to my shave den. I am confused between several options. I use both, creams and soaps. For soaps i prefer face lathering and for creams i use a bowl. I can spend upto $125.
Currently, i am having :
Simpson duke3 best, Escali pure, Semogue SOC boar & Omega pro48
Yours suggestions would be a great help. Thanks in advance ![/font]

I'd go for something in a silvertip or finest. For 125 you can pick up a used Thater which would probably fill most of your needs. $125 is a nice high number that should be able to get you something very nice!

Even though this brush is well below your limit, The Semogue BC Texugo is a fantastic brush that suits all of your bowl/face, soap/cream needs. I have the Mistura (badger
and boar
) and the size is perfect for my hand. the loft is just right for my bowl, and the small percentage of boar hair really makes this brush excel on the face. Naturally the advice to purchase a fine 2-band or Silvertip is good. Those brushes can be of heirloom quality. For the best 2 band, you're would be above you spending limit. But, half of the fun is finding a new brush.
Good luck!
