I guess I've been out of the loop for a while, every seller that I knew is out of eBay Confused
I've found virginiasheng offering Finest and Silvertip knots, any firsthand experience with this seller?
Any other reputable sellers to get a Finest knot from?
I don't like TGN knots, so not going there.

Virginia Sheng is my favorite knot supplier. There are lots of similarities to TGN and Frank's in some regards, but better pricing. Ace also offers two-band knots, but I found them to be uncomfortable for face lathering (too scritchy for my sensitive skin). WSP also offers some 2-band knots, but for my money the knots aren't superior enough (if at all) to Virginia Sheng for me to purchase, there is the advantage of not having to wait for international shipping though.

Good info on Virginia Sheng! Any comparison between Finest and Silvertip?

Both have very soft tips, which is my first priority as I am sensitive to scritch. The 2-band finest has more backbone, but the silvertips are pretty dense and have decent backbone as well.

Silvertip

I don't have any solo pics of the 2-band set in a brush, but the big Vulfix in the front row all the way to the right is a VS.

Oh and both knots had curled tips to boot, so expect a very silky feel when wet but slightly crispy when dry.

Not exactly what you're asking, but I did just order a 24mm Pur-Tech from them. Fast shipping and a great product. I'd order from them again!
