I am continuing my downsizing. The first brush I am offering is a beautiful, extremely rare Somerset Simpson Polo 14 Manchurian. It is truly gorgeous, with very soft, extraordinarily white hair tips. The knot is 32mm, and the loft is 70mm. Asking $415 shipped CONUS.
SOLD on eBay for $450.

The second brush is a relisting, a Somerset Polo 14 in Super Badger. Its knot is 33mm, and its loft is 65mm. This too is a beautiful, lightly used brush with soft tips. Asking $375 $300 shipped CONUS. If you buy this brush, you can also get a beautiful faux ebony Rooney 3/2 Finest with a 24mm knot for an additional $350. SOLD

These are such nice brushes - if I hadn't just bought 3 M&F, 2 Thater brushes and a Rooney - I would have been so tempted. But already feeling very guilty with all the money I spent on brushes this month)
But so so tempted. Biggrin

Because of the high loft, the backbone is moderate, and the brush is not as scrubby as other vintage Manchurians. To me it feels much like a Plisson.

Gotcha, thanks for answering that. Too bad I've never tried a Plisson before! Maybe one day ...

The hair looks absolutely beautiful, John. Had I not just bought a CH3 Manchurian, and this one could very well be my first Polo. GLWTS!
