I've recently been getting into aftershave. Previously I had a few balms and Speick AS lotion. Now I have a few Fine AS's with Proraso Green, new RR's, and some samples of B&M Kyovu on the way. Are there any others I should consider? I don't mind buying non-artisinal but like supporting small businesses.

Thanks!

Edit - I also tend to wear fragrances so lighter scented AS's or those without staying power would be the best fit.

Kyovu as we discussed Smile

Crown makes a very mild scented aftershave

The Gentleman's refinery aftershave is almost as awesome as the old formula DR Harris Milk

Myrsol are great. Some are fairly light.

I like the Stirling splashes as well but they need a balm to follow.

Al's light version of his balms are nice

Not sure which RR you got but the waxes are awesome

And I've always liked GFT coral skin food.

QC also makes great balms, but some like their Fougere are heavy scented (wonderful but heavy)

Floid blue is the best thing since the invention of the wheel, but it's staying power might bug you. Smile

I decided on Wm. Neumann 1907 and 1911. Not mentioned here but on another forum...

Saint Charles Shave (I know, I sound like a broken record) makes really excellent splashes and milks.

I can recommend GFT skin food as well as castle forbes ASB. I prefer an alcohol free formula that leaves my skin feeling smooth. I share you feelings about supporting our artisan vendors, and won a PIF from krissy of praire creations. Her ASB has performs great. Best of luck on your journey.

My favorite is Queen Charlotte. I rotate their balms with Musgo Real and Speick balms. If anything the QCS balms are superior to the big names.

Their Fougere AS is divine. But the scent might linger to long for the OP
