I'm a long-time AS-D1 fan, and I had to take the plunge on this razor. It's an excellent razor and IMO it is a tad more aggressive that the D1 (not much), but where it clearly outdoes the D1 is in feedback. You can definitely hear the whiskers cutting on the D2. I'd like $160 shipped in the US for this razor. The baby just started screaming, so let me know if you'd like pics - I'll get back to them!

The AS-D2 is my favorite razor. Someone will love this. A 5 month old up here in Westwood Sean...know what your going through!

Mine is almost seven months and it's not getting better yet. Just want him to cut that first one.
