666 may be the mark of the Devil but this is one pretty razor regardless.
Sanded the blade and scales then polished them up. Seems I've been on a run with clear scales lately and these came out fine.
Buttoned it up with Nickle pins and SS washers.

That looks great. The silver trim on the clear scales is especially nice.

Thank you Gentlemen!

Seems whatever is put on scales like these, brass or silver in the way of bolsters they all look terrific.
Then too I have a weakness for most ANY bolster .

Stunning look. Bolsters add class IMO. Love it with the clear or smoke scales.

The vintage Giesen & Forsthoff are very good razors but the more modern ones have a very poor reputation.

How'd you clear up those clear scales? I have some Dubl Ducks that need help. They've become hazy.

Ah, yes DD scales. Just did several of those too.
Break the razor down. Sand up to 600 or so then polish.

My post "New Ducklings in the Nest" shows some of my DDs

Fun fact about 666: it is hebrew numerolory (called gematry) for "Nero Caesar".

The early cristians thought that Nero was the AntiChrist and that's why it says in revelation 13:18 "This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.". You see, if they could'nt spell out that Nero Caesar was the Beast and go unpunished by law, so they devised this clever way of saying the same thing.
