Cade has always been a favorite soap of mine, it's just a wonderful French triple milled soap. Sadly several years ago they discontinued the EdT which I also liked. There has been an online petition and discussion thread on L'Occitane's site to bring back Cade EdT. Well today I was in the Oakbrook L'Occitane to pick up another bottle of hand soap, and Cade EdT was on the table at the entrance. It's Back !!!!!!!!

Does it smell exactly like the soap? I've never seen this before in my local L'Occitane shops. Would be great if it mirrored the lather's scent.

It smells just like the soap minus the "soapy" scent. It was (and now again is) one of my favorite scents. Manly and fresh.

Doug, I always thought this was the match for the Cade soap. It reminds me of it and I really like the Cade scent:

Yes, the Lavender does pair nicely with the Cade, but the original pairing was with the original Cade. I cannot describe the scent other than to say it is exactly Cade soap, just in EdT strength.

Funny how schnozzes work. I don't think the Cade EdT smells anything like the soap, which is a sore disappointment. More of a generic cologne scent.

The shaving soap, pebble soap, and shower gel have that amazing juniper scent of the Cade items I've tried. The shaving cream and aftershave balm do not.

I have no idea what Juniper is supposed to smell like but does anyone else get a hint of peppermint in the Cade scent? Cade smells amazing, I used it earlier.

I also really enjoy the scent of their cade products.

I don't use Cade soap anymore but I love the balm. I have to agree that the soap smells nothing like the balm. Sampled the EDT just the other day and also thought it did not replicate the scent of the soap.

I love the Cade balm, performance and scent. But I sampled the EDT last week and didn't think it smelled anything like the balm either, IMHO.

I love the balm, and the soap is OK although quite different. I haven't used the soap in a while, but I don't recall it having an exceptional scent--I just remember it as being rather clean and "soapy".

I will definitely check out the EdT next time I'm near a L'Occitane store. I have a couple of their other scents and like them a lot, plus they are fairly reasonably priced compared with some other frags.

I love the Cade scent, though I prefer the L'Occitan, and wish they made a soap in that scent too.
