The wait is over!
The blade had been worked over a bit at some point in its life and showed the results of being over buffed by someone attempting to clean it up. We decided to do away with the now damaged etch and go full polish on the blade. It straightened up nicely.
The scales unfortunately I can't photograph to show how beautiful the pattern is . In the shots they look like a gradual fade but there are streaks of color that show up very well in person.
Check Windgo's post and you can see how they looked prior to getting fitted.
The factory wedge completes the look.
Originally I had solid black horn scales on this razor. Somehow our signals got crossed and I ended up reusing them on the TSR in another post. Those had enough "meat" on them that the transfer came off without a hitch to be used on the TSR.

Genius at work. Now that I think about it I might have a Wosty to send you to restore. I'll email you later.

The first use of the ivory brush will probably go with an ivory mk31 but who knows. This wosty just moved from a blade I hardly used to my elite row.

Honestly when Mark sent me the pics of it with the black scales I almost decided to keep it with black despite the mix up in which blade got which scales. After seeing the blanks I am so glad I had Mark make the switch. The original black scales are now on the ton so rius and look wonderful there. It's like christmas for me.
