This blade was in pretty nice shape overall. Some sanding and polishing brought it back nicely. Granted such thin blades can only be sanded so far so a pit or two had to remain.
The scales were typical for most razors being scratched and dull looking. The odd thing was , and you can just make it out in the one photo, were saw cuts on each side of the scales near the wedge pin. I can't figure that one out.
But I was able to remove them even though they were quite deep and yet retain the integrity of the scales.
These , in person, are just stunning to see. Nothing you'll find in man made materials.
Brass washerless pins complete the look.
