A number of months ago, Florian Arnold (Wiborg's owner) told me that he found a new supplier of excellent 3-band silvertip knots. I just received my new brush today and I have to agree!

I really like this brush. The only brush that can match its combination of extreme density and soft tips is the Simpson Chubby 3 in Super 3-band (silvertip). It's also about the same size as the CH3; 30mm knot, 54mm loft, 50mm handle.

I knew it would be a big soap hog because of the density, but the Simpson is too. That's not a big deal for me.

I think this brush is a great value at 159 Euro (approx $225). The price is $90 less than a CH3 in Super and about the same as a CH3 in Best (which is not as good a brush).

In the past, I have been accused of being a Wiborg "Fan Boy" and I guess maybe I am, but that's because I think Florian makes some terrific brushes.

Handle looks uncomfortable to me with that ridge. Is it?

Buying a Wiborg will not be a mistake. If you have the opportunity and they have one in stock that you like, do it!

Congratulations on the new brush, Bob! Smile
That know looks amazing! I would love to try the new 3-Band hair as the 2-Bands are a bit too soft for me since I like some scrub.
Does the price of 159 Euros include the shipping?

I was just on the site and it said free shipping world wide for brushes only. That yellow one they have sure is nice.

It's not the most ergonomic handle design, especially for my big mitt, but it's not bad. My 2-band Wiborg has a handle that is very similar to a Simpson Polo 8 and that works better for me.
