Good day, My first post was an introduction of myself and for my second post I thought I would share a picture and story of my first brush. My father tough me to shave when I was in my late teens and he said I should get a shave brush, so I ran out to a local store and bought this one. It is nothing special, painted wood handle and most likely boar hair, generic and cheep. I soon joined the military and left the brush at home only to buy several other brushes over the years. Well some 20 plus years later I discovered my father had started using my first brush daily and wore the brush down to the condition you see in the picture. I have the brush back in my possession and although I don't use it I keep it on display on a shelf. Mike

Lovely older brush, Mike! Thanks for sharing the pic. You should think about re-knotting it and putting it to use! It would be a great brush to have in your rotation! Smile
