Currently in Rome for a few days. Stumbled across this place called "Muzio" with lots of shaving gear. Huge range of Omega brushes and various soaps and fragrances. Italian soaps seemed quite few - Cella, Omega, Valobra. No Proraso in sight. Probably viewed as low end by the locals. Picked up a couple of things but impressed myself by remaining extremely restrained.

It took me a while to make my selections I must say. The shop owners probably thought I was up to some mischief - all excited and wide-eyed; drooling everywhere! I was keen to pick out something "new" and not spend a fortune so I closely inspected quite a few of the brushes.

The smaller brush I got seems to be known as the "mighty midget". It's a mixed badger/boar brush with a gorgeous veined "jade" handle, 20mm knot, and 43mm loft. Looks to be a great travel brush.

The following day I found the Proraso menthol ASB I had been looking for. I've not seen this available anywhere online or in Australia. I got these 3 Proraso items for under 20 euro. A bargain compared to the price we pay at home. The ASB was only 5.50 euro.
